South Coast Hip-Hop Group

BIOGRAPHY

Two Hop-Hop artists joined forces back in 2020 during the peak of the lockdown, beginning their conquest of the Australian South Coast Hip-Hop scene. The old housemates joined with Benevolent Creatures. Together, they decided to form the hip-hop group now known as Woolway. The two artists, Cobba & Pacey, started their individual music careers with Cobba leaning towards grassroots acoustic Indie/Folk/Rock, whereas Pacey, with a more traditional hip-hop background, stood upon a 10+ year career in the genre. Embracing the experience of multitalented producer and sound engineer Benevolent Creatures with his 30+ years in the music industry, their multifaceted sound began to take form.

Pacey's extensive knowledge and passion for rap & hip-hop, spearheaded the movement of the group and encouraged a blend of all their musical tastes. With this pivotal change, Cobba decided to lean into a more organic Indie/Funk/Rock/Hip-Hop blend. Together they encapsulated their love for the coast and country, all its history, beauty & struggle. The group has been working, practicing, and performing to mold Woolway into it's chilled, punchy & original vibe and to take their sound to the next level.
